We're not all about technology and gadgets. We're real people
with hobbies and interests ranging from woodworking to anime. OCI
has supported these interests, and here are just a few examples.
|
Am-wood.com
An early pioneer to online-only publishing, Amateur Woodworker
brought great projects within reach of woodworkers with only
common tools and a desire to learn. OCI was an early supporter,
and contributed technical advice and online games.
|
HealthNetWeb
Using computers to help motivate us to get out from behind our
computers and live healthier? Makes sense to us, and OCI
is providing technology and resources to help develop this
informational and social system.
|
Flow.net
Flow was a project formed by the alliance of several companies,
including OCI, to create a toolkit so users could collaborate
in realtime. An IM system with authenticated users and local servers
was the first product using the Flow system.

EX: The Online World of Anime and Manga
Since 1996, EX has been publishing articles, reviews, and commentary
about the role of Japanese Anime in America, trying to bring
attention to this distinct art and culture. OCI has hosted the
website since their first issue.
|
Addventure.com
Not just a project in interactive fiction, but also collaborative
writing, The Addventurers sought to build tools to let people work
and play in this new medium. OCI hosts the project and
has a technology sharing agreement with them.

Anime Expo
Anime Expo is the largest convention devoted to Japanese animation
and manga (comics) in the United States. Run by the Society for
the Promotion of Japanese Animation (SPJA), OCI hosts the
convention website, providing information for prospective attendees.
